NJH Services – Energy Assessors

What does an Energy Assessment involve?

To complete an assessment we will need to carry out a visual inspection of your property and collect information, which includes age of property, construction details, services and internal measurements. We will require access to all rooms in the property plus any loft or cellar, plus taking photographs as evidence to support the information recorded ie: glazing, boiler, insulation and heating controls.

For an average size property an inspection takes approximately 45 minutes on site.

After the assessment, all the information gathered during the inspection is compiled and entered into an approved software package and lodged on the Landmark Register, which you can access at any time, we will then produce your EPC Certificate. This will detail the current rating for your property plus guidance and recommendations for improving the properties energy efficiency performance rating.
