               RdSAP 10

With the launch of RdSAP 10 which represents the most significant update to the calculation methodology used for generating  Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) and introduces several key enhancements designed to improve the quality and scope of Energy Performance Certificates This is essential for home sales, rentals and funding mechanisms.

From the 15th June 2025, more detailed information will need to be collected during on-site visits. this includes measuring all windows, identifying different types of ventilation, wall types and constructions, and more detailed data for rooms-in-roof along with new technologies such as air source heat pumps, battery storage, thermal store, pv diverter and small scale hydro which are all now included in RdSAP 10

To collect the additional data required, assessors will need to spend a lot more time at the property. This refects the increased detail and rigour of the new methodology, which enhances the quality and reliability of each EPC.

As a result there will be significant change in the cost of an EPC

      Larger properties and properties that have Roof Rooms, Solar, Thermal Store, Batteries by quotation
